Dr. Thomas, the senior member of Pulmonary Associates, has been in practice for over 25 years. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Thomas also serves as Director of the Intensive Care Unit as Hurley Medical Center. Dr. Thomas completed his Internal Medicine Specialty Training at the Brooklyn Cumberland Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He then completed subspecialty training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at State University of New York, Upstate Medical Center.

Dr. Wadenstorer, one of the senior member of Pulmonary Associates, is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Palliative Care. He is one of a select few physicians to be certified in five areas of expertise. Dr. Wadenstorer completed both his Internal Medicine specialty training and Pulmonary Subspecialty Training at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan. He also received sleep training in sleep disorders medicine at Akran General Medical Center in Akran, Ohio. His special interests include Lung Nodules, Lung Cancer, and COPD.

Dr. Patel completed his specialty training in Internal Medicine at Harbor Hospital Center, Baltimore, Maryland. He then completed his subspecialty training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Patel is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Palliative & Hospice Medicine. He currently serves as Associate Professor - Dept. of Medicine at MSU College of Human Medicine, Medical Director of Serene Sleep Center, Co-Medical Director/Pulmonary Director for Select Specialty Hospital, and Co-Medical Director of McLaren Pulmonary Rehab. Program.

Dr. Seedahmed completed his specialty training in Internal Medicine at Hurley Medical Center, Flint, Michigan. He then completed his subspecialty training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University Of Utah Hospitals and Clinics, Salt Lake City, Utah. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. He also serves as Associate Professor - Dept. of Medicine at MSU College of Human Medicine.

Dr. Parikh is board certified in internal medicine, sleep medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine. He completed his fellowships at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He is a clinical assistant professor at Michigan State University. His special interest is in Sleep medicine.

Dr. Chandran completed both his specialty training in Internal Medicine and his subspecialty training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Missouri, Columbia. He is part of several Professional Societies which include the American College of Chest Physicians, Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Thoracic Society. Dr. Chandran has also served as part of the faculty in the Midwest Introductory Pleural and Bronchoscopic Procedures Course for the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota.

Dr. Al-Sanouri completed his residency for Internal Medicine at Northside Hospital in Youngstown, OH. He completed his subspecialty residency in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Allergy Immunology at Harper Hospital as well as Children’s Hospital of Michigan through Wayne State University’s School of Medicine. Dr. Al-Sanouri is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Pulmonary, and Allergy Immunology. He has served as Assistant Professor in Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Immunology with Wayne State University, as well as Director of the Percutaneous Tracheostomy Program for John D. Dingell Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Dr. Berrou is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care. He completed his residency for Internal Medicine at Abington Jefferson Hospital in Abington, PA, and for Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of South Alabama. Dr. Berrou also completed his Post-Doctorate and Research Fellowship with the Endocrinology Division of Wayne State University’s Department of Medicine. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society and American College of Chest Physicians.

Dr. Valvani also completed his Post-Doctorate in Pulmonary & Citical Care Medicine at Westchester Medical Center, New York Medical College, New York.
